Announcement of the 8th Edition of the Karama Beirut Human Rights Film Festival

Beirut, Lebanon – The 8th Edition of the Karama Beirut Human Rights Film Festival will occur from October 16 to 19, 2024. The festival, focusing on the theme of “Memory,” will highlight the role of memory in advancing and promoting human rights.

Over three days, the festival will feature over 20 films from various countries, including fiction, documentaries, and animation. All films will be subtitled in both English and Arabic. The screenings will be held at the Sunflower Theatre in Tayouneh, Beirut.

Despite significant funding challenges, the festival remains committed to presenting a diverse and impactful program.
