Strengthening Cooperation Between Human Screen Festival and Bizerte Cinematic Encounters

Tunis – The Human Screen Festival in Tunisia has established fruitful cooperation with the Bizerte Cinematic Encounters, organized by the Association Bizerte Cinéma, through the exchange of human rights films and guidelines for their screening. This collaboration aims to strengthen internal partnerships within Tunis and nearby cities, while also expanding connections with potential members of the ANHAR Network for Human Rights Film Festivals.

As part of this initiative, the film Gaza in Black and White was requested and sent by the Karama Festival in Jordan, highlighting the significance of exchanging cinematic works with impactful messages to support human rights causes.

Furthermore, ANHAR Network and Human Screen Festival worked together to send a selection of films to be screened at the Night of the Tower Cinematic Festival, organized by the Lotus Association for Culture and Arts in Djerba, during its third edition held on July 28, 2024.

This collaboration strengthens the ties between various film festivals and demonstrates their shared dedication to promoting human rights awareness through the medium of cinema.
