The White Night Festival – 12th Edition – Morocco
The Association of Mediterranean Meetings for Cinema and Human Rights (ARMCDH) organized the 12th edition of the White Night Festival, with the opening on June 23 and activities and film screenings on the digital cinema platform continuing until June 30.
This edition focused on “Cinema and the Right to Sport” for the youth generation, which reflects their situation and suffering in different aspects of life. It means more than just a physical activity, it is a real dive into the exciting world that young people live in, where they push boundaries, break stereotypes, and pursue their dreams with courage and determination. Sport can refine the human soul, making young people more aware of their human rights, and making the angry energy they feel as a result of their harsh living conditions turn into positive and influential energy in their communities.
Within this framework, online discussions were organized on “Sport in Law and Public Policy“, in which more than 300 participants participated, with exceptional speakers who led a sleepless night discussion.
An outdoor cinema experience was also offered to more than 200 people, with the screening of 8 attractive films, mixing documentary and fiction, and short films, all of which explore the relationship between cinema and sport in different ways.
