Agenda (7th and 8th December 2019)
On the first of the two days all ANHAR Members participated in the “Must meet Meeting”
This networking event was an open meeting for producers, directors, and professionals from the industry from Jordan and the world, who will attend Karama HRFF (separate report on this meeting). The two meetings were joined intentionally in order to network between ANHAR members as a regional group and between Karama guests of festivals and films as well as Jordanian guests from the industry.
On the same day, 7th of December, in the afternoon the closed meeting of ANHAR started with meeting with potential members and potential affiliates and informal exchange between ANHAR members as a kick-off. This was followed by an official intervention by Azza Husseini, the Director of Luxor Africa Film Festival from Egypt.
The following day, 8th of December, had an intense full day agenda. It started with another official intervention by Julie Nederkoorn. She is working for the Movies that Matter Foundation and Festival since 2015. Within this work she is a member of the International Support programme at Movies that Matter, which promotes and supports screenings of human rights film worldwide and runs the secretariat of the Human Rights Film Network, a partnership of more than 40 human rights film festivals worldwide. With this background she presented her work and the possibilities she can provide to the ANHAR members, to connect with them and give them an overview over possible support.
